December 22, 2013 Dream
There's a girl with long blond piggy tails off the side of her head, above the ears, that sweep low. She's a teenage orphan with an important rank. A man takes her in as his daughter. He has black spiky hair and a long, grey trench coat. He wields a sword and is a kind man, though she acts off-standish towards him. She's never really acknowledged him as her father. One day, a group of people try to kidnap/kill her. It's a snowy day in a forest/woodsy area. Her adopted father tells her to run ahead and that he'd deal with them. She does so and looks behind her shoulder to see him fighting the bad guys. She runs to a nearby small town and goes into an empty building with an open doorway. She hides behind a tall cabinet/carton etc blue thing, shivery in fear and not sure what to do. Some time later, allies stop by. She still hasn't heard from her adopted father. A girl with shoulder length straight blond inside the room insults her dad in some way or form, and the main character girl bristles and anger and grabs her, shaking her shoulders. For some reason, she's weak and can't harm her like she wishes she could. She shouts, "DON'T YOU DARE INSULT THE MAN WHO IS LIKE MY FATHER.." and then corrects herself with, "My father," acknowledging the man as her father for the first time. (Very emotional moment) She shoves the other girl away though she doesn't push her too far away because she's weak. There are a couple other people there, all young adult and maybe teenage aged, and several give the girl who insulted her father a disapproving look as well.
