August 18, 2011 Dream

The first scene I can remember, my sister and I were in this area. It was mostly all grass, but there was water nearby. There were animals here and there. On top of the grass was a red car and some other things I cannot remember.
All of a sudden, it started snowing. In no time at all, the snow completely covered the green grass and red car and some animals. I saw a small fox-like creature. It was reddish brown, and it was licking the red car, trying to get all of the snow off it of. As if it were a movie from Planet Earth, a narrative male voice spoke, saying something to this effect, "In order to survive the winter, animals must be able to find food to eat. If they aren't able to find things in the snow to eat, they will starve." As I said, something like that. My sister and I looked at the fox, which was trying to completely lick away away the snow from the red car. It had stopped snowing. On cue, us two went over and began helping the little animal by wiping off the snow on one side of the car as if went to work on the other side of it. When the fox came around, it seemed surprised that the snow was already wiped off, by us. I thought, Well, at least one animal will be able to survive the winter. For some reason, I thought that the fox would be able to eat the car or something. I don't know exactly.
Somehow, the fox turned into a boy with brown eyes and hair, who was a head shorter than me.
The boy smiled. Then we went over to the car, which suddenly grew so that we could barely touch the top of it. The windows were covered in a light layer of snow. He began drawing strokes on the window, as if the snow was frost or something. my sister and I followed suit and drew some lines as well. Us three talked about something I can't remember.
Scene change... sort of. the boy was gone, but there was still snow. There was water pretty much everywhere. The narrative voice said from somewhere that a whale was definitely going to survive the winter because two people (I knew it was me and my sister) helped him.
(Now that I think of it, we didn't exactly do that, I think. For some reason, I was thinking in the dream that we had uncovered the snow from it and had somehow let it go into the water so it could live instead of being stuck on land and being eaten by these black snow dogs, who were there.)
My sister and I were pretty happy because we knew we were the ones who had saved the whale. We looked through the water and was actually able to see him. I think he was a humpback whale... It was BIG.
Anyway, so my sister and I (can I call my sister a name? Perhaps S for sister to make things quicker?) jumped in the water. Strangely, the water was actually a nice temperature, and we did not freeze inside of it. The blue colored whale swam over and thanked us for helping him. (He could talk). Either he had a name or we named him, but his name was Flynnie, or that was what he was known as throughout the dream. (Note: In real life, Flynnie is the name of a dwarf hamster I own...)
So, Flynnie (can I call him F for short?), S (remember, that's sister), and I were swimming around. For some reason, I could breathe under water, as well as S. We were playing around, doing flips in the water, riding on F's back as he swam around. His end fin was super big and powerful.
Eventually, F said he had to go somewhere. I asked him where. He said he had to go somewhere to tell people about being alive and us saving him, and whatnot. I'm not really sure. All I know is that he had to talk with someone important. So S and I agreed to let him go.
F spent some time with him. We went to this place which was mostly made out of connected caves. It was sort of like a mining place, which has lots of tunnels separating this way and that way, but it was half submerged in water. F grabbed me and was flipping me about, bringing me out of the water, back into it, spinning me around, etc. I was laughing, but I said that I couldn't breathe. I could, though.
F said, "Yes, you can," but he stopped doing whatever he was doing, nevertheless. Then he said he had to get going. S was somewhere at this time, swimming elsewhere. F and I went into this cave. In front of the cave was a purple curtain that didn't look very wet but was dipped in the water. There was some sort of lady creature there, standing on dry ground. in front of her was a brown desk. F and I popped our heads out of water (we didn't fully get out of the water).
The lady went around the desk. I can't remember what she looked like. I think she had green eyeshadow on. Her clothes was very swooshy, as in, the ends of her purple-black cloak thing trailed on the ground. She was holding some green ball of sorts, I think.
Anyway, so F asks where he has to go, after introducing himself and me as the one who saved him (apparently, this was very important to him, that I saved him). The lady pointed to an adjacent cave next door and said to go there. F thanked her and went off.
I didn't follow him yet. I stared at the creepy lady instead. She didn't look very human to me. She gave me this weird, creepy look. (Her face looked human enough, but her body movement was like the hag from the movie, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian). I went to find F.
All of a sudden, I saw this truck (even though it was underwater). It was one of those trucks that carry things on the back of it, such as boxes and whatnot.
I looked at the boxes for a moment and was about to look for F when I noticed that F was IN one of the boxes. I suddenly knew somehow that F had been tricked. He wasn't going to have an interview or whatever, but instead, the creepy ladies (there was another one, who appears later on- she looks similar to the other one) were going to ship him away and sell him for a lot of money. I knew that somehow, when they either touched F or the box touched him, that he had shrunk into a small size so it could go into the box. I knew he was smaller because instead of being 20+ times my size, I could fit him in my arms if I wanted to.
"Flynnie!" I shouted, trying to help him. The creepy ladies cackled in laughter. That's when I saw the other creepy lady appear from the adjacent cave to stand next to the creepy lady I saw first. The second creepy lady was holding something blue. I didn't see much significance in it until later.
Anyway, so I grabbed the box between my hands and started ripping the sides off. The sides of the box (it reminded me of the shipping boxes that shipped animals from the movie Madagascar) were slightly soggy, maybe from being under water. I ripped the sides away and reached in to get F out. He was unconscious and small- as I said before, I could hold him easily.
My sister, S, appears in the next scene. The creepy ladies are cackling again. I look over to see why. The second creepy lady holds up two things- in one hand was the blue thing, which I then saw was a balloon. In the other hand was a needle. With a laugh, she stabbed the balloon. Air slowly hissed out of it.
I had no idea what was going on. I thought she was a bit strange. Then I noticed F, whom I was still carrying. He was deflating, literally, as if he were the balloon. Somehow, I knew that if all the air in the balloon would run out, the life in F would too. And I had to prevent that from happening, no matter what.
"Give me that!" I shouted to the lady. She shrugged and threw it to me, probably thinking F had no chance of living anyway. I grabbed the balloon with one hand and held F with the other. I tried pinching the hole in the balloon, but suddenly, more kept appearing.
S cried, "Look!" She pointed to the first creepy lady, who held a yellow balloon and an orange balloon. She sped/swam to the lady and took the balloons from her. The two balloons most likely represented some other animals' lives. Cleverly, S started blowing air into the two balloons. They were being okay.
My situation wasn't getting any better. F was deflating and deflating, his life being sucked out of him. I decided to surface out of the water to help him. F was no larger than a stuffed animal, and he was shrinking still. B followed me. I glanced back to see the two ladies giving chase. They had these angry looks on their faces, as if they wanted to kill both of us or something. I told S to swim faster. We surfaced and found ourselves in our house (in reality, as in.). S and I quickly brought everything to our downstairs room. I locked the door, slamming it shut. I could hear the two creepy ladies approaching down the hallway.
S was inspecting F. She said the only way for him to live is that if we turned him into a smaller animal. She worked on him for a bit. I guarded the door. The two creepy ladies were pounding on the door. I could see that they were getting close to pounding the door completely over. The lock was starting to break under al of the strain. I leaned my weight against it.
I heard S say, "There. All done."
I looked over and saw a white stuffed bear walk over to me. He didn't say anything. I asked, "Flynnie?" the little white bear nodded and went over to stand next to me.
I think that somehow, in order to have him live, his speech was robbed from him, so he couldn't speak. But somehow, I could hear his voice asking, "Could I somehow turn into a real bear when I walk out?" I think he knew we were all in danger and that if he was a real bear, he could fight the two creepy ladies and defeat them for us.
I shrugged. I didn't know what to say, but I think that I knew that he would stay in the form of a white stuffed bear with black eyes and a brown stitched mouth for the rest of his life. I glanced at S and F.
They nodded.
I flung open the door, and we ran out. The two creepy ladies screeched in alarm. We fought them. I can't remember any of the battle, but I think we won.
I don't remember the ending.
Then the dream ended.

  1. I describe Flynnie as a blue whale. In fact, he may not be. He had the skin of a dolphin because it was smooth to the touch and slick. However, its tale was shaped like a whale's, as was its size. I'll look for a picture to represent him, if I can.

  2. He's probably closest to a blue whale in whale size perspective and closest to bottlenose dolphin in smooth skin perspective. I couldn't find the right picture, though.
