I have to play a cello piece solo in order to join something, however, I didn't even know that I was going to be participating in the event, so I haven't prepared at all. Thus, I have to rely solely on memory to play an entire piece- some concerto in c major I played in 7/8th grade. We all (lots of students) go on some plane to get there. My seat is pretty fancy (as is everyone's else). Fancier than 1st class seats, really. I practice remembering the songs by fingering an air cello while going there. Other than me, the only ones I remember being there are my sister, and CBA.
