August 3, 2012 Dream

There's this super super fast elevator that goes up and down so fast that... well... it's really fast. A group of people and I travel down the elevator despite knowing it's risks. When we reach the bottom, the elevator door fall off somehow, and everyone gets out of it. (The elevator just goes up and down, pausing for a short while to let people get in it, but there aren't any buttons to control it). There's a man inside of it, staying at the end wall of it. I yell at him, "Get out of there! The doors are broken, so if the elevator starts moving, you'll be thrown out of the elevator! It's dangerous, get out of it!" The other people began yelling at him as well, but he stayed there, scared to move. Then I lounged in it, grabbed the man's hand, and ran out of it, pulling him with me. Right as we stepped out of it together, the elevator went up at it's incredibly fast speed, making a dangerous, rattling noise. Everyone sighs a breath of relief.

Later on, there are a large group of people gathering together in this place. I'm walking there, passing by some people. I pass by MKR and tell him, "Thanks." He asks why, I say, "Thanks for being my friend sort of" (which, thinking back, doesn't sound like a thanks, but more sarcastic. But in the dream, I sounded pretty thankful.) MKR glances at me as I walk past him. At the gathering, there are wooden benches where we can sit in, sort of like the meeting place at SOINC that one year. There are rows and columns of each. I'm at the far column to the right, sitting somewhat near the front row. The speaker person was giving out awards to people. I sat, knowing I would receive a reward for saving the man in the elevator. The man speaker announced some sort of reward and threw a half dozen slices of pizza attached to one another (cheese pizza, I think) to someone in the middle column. Then he announced the second award, throwing the next half dozen to me. I caught it with a big smile even though I knew I would receive that award. Later on, I'm talking to my mom, describing the significance of the award. I tell her that it grants me full scholarship to any community college. I slightly roll my eyes at that since I think that I'll easily be able to get into a much better college.
