August 24, 2011 Dream

Last night's dream was very long and detailed.
The first part was about a game. The main character was a tall male with wavy brown hair and a sweeping cape. He covered most of the screen. In the background was a desert with a couple of palm trees and a small oasis. I didn't remember anything else about this part. I woke up at 7am after this dream ended and promptly fell asleep.
The dream from 7am-8am was quite a bit longer than the other one. I was the main person. In some parts, I saw things from my view, but in other parts, I could see myself as if it was a movie, but I was controlling my movements/thoughts/etc. I was with my sister (S), and we were, with some other people, visiting some place out side of home. We would stay there for maybe three days at most, then we would return home.
The first scene I can remember, we were in a plaza area, walking around. There were tall buildings that were mostly grey colored, with window mosaics. The plaza was either round or square-shaped. There was a blue swirly/spirally design on the tiled grey floor. I believe there were other people there, some locals, some tourists.
In the next scene, some people, S, and I were waking through a library to go to the other side, where there was a door that would lead us to somewhere we needed to go. I was in the back of the pack. In the library, there were almost all Asian people, Chinese, I believe. There were Asian people of both genders reading books at the counters, looking for books, or talking quietly amongst themselves. In the middle of the room was a long counter. There were chairs on each side. The chairs were those spinny types that can go up and down to suit your height. There was some sort of glass panel that split the two sides so people could have their privacy when they were reading.
To put things in perspective, I'll use N, S, E, W, okay? The entrance is SE. There is a double door that can swing both ways (can be pushed or pulled to get in or out- very convenient at times). The counter is smack in the middle. The exit door (where we were trying to get out of) is N. On the W and E sides, there were library shelves full of colorful books. The shelves were tall, perhaps three-fourths of the way to the ceiling. I'd say the ceiling was maybe 18 feet from the ground. I think it was only a one-story tall library.
Anyway, so we were walking to the exit, on the left side of the counters. There were library interns who worked there, who were all Asian as well. Some were pushing carts with wheels around that had books on them. They were probably returning them to their rightful place in the library.
Anyway, so one library intern was going to the E side of the library while the group of people and I were traveling to the N side of the library to go to the exit. He stopped to let us all pass. I glanced his way, and our eyes locked briefly.
He was perhaps a half head taller than I was and a few years older. He had an interesting shade of brown eyes (he didn't have glasses, was clean-shaven, and had slightly darker skin, as if he had been under the sun for a while) and flippy black hair. The moment was like those in movies where two people pass by each other in slow motion and intense music is playing in the background. Well, that kind of thing happened as we sort of went around each other. The moment ended. I went on my way, and he went on his.
We went out of the entrance. S was right in front of me, and I pretended that nothing happened. We watched as soldiers in green marched in formation, as if training for battle. They were walking on a grey floor that looked sort of like the plaza floor, but it didn't have the blue swirly design on it. I was still thinking of the boy I saw. I think I knew he was significant in some way but didn't know how.
The third scene in this sequence, S and I were in the library again, but there were a few things different. First of all, the counter wasn't there anymore. Also, the entrance was on the E side, not the SE. Around the entrance was some bean bags. Also, there was some sort of arch-like structure made out of wood or toys, I can't remember.
Anyway, so I was on a wheelchair. It was a really cool one. It moves when your brain wants it to. If I want to turn right, it would sense my brain waves or whatever, and it would turn right. All that cool stuff. Anyway, so I was in the library, looking for a book and wondering if I would see that one boy again. S was standing outside of the entrance. Apparently, there was something happening there (the library is connected to other buildings, so the entrance would lead to a different building whereas the exit would lead to the outdoors).
In this scene, I was watching me, so I was seeing things in 3rd person perspective. Anyway, so I was looking at the bookshelves. The boy went over to me and struck a conversation. Apparently, he remembered me. I can't remember the exact conversation, but I laughed several times, so I guess I enjoyed it. Well, he was a pretty friendly guy. I soon found out that his name was Jimmy. Soon enough, I had to leave. I zipped to the entrance and decided to do some tricks to see what the extent of the wheelchair abilities were. It spun around crazily, going backwards through the arch. Well, apparently I didn't need the wheelchair because I stood up. The wheel chair fell onto its back and slid through the arch. Ever on cue, my sister picked it up. I was already walking around he arch and sat down back onto the wheelchair as if I expected all of that to happen. I didn't even know if the boy was watching. Even so, as I left the library through its entrance, I swept a gaze around and smiled in slow motion (Sweeping a gaze around in slow motion- seems almost blurry like). For some reason, my smile was as beautiful as my sister's, which brings me to doubt if I was actually me or I was my sister in this dream. My sister has the most beautiful smile in the world, and mine is only okay.
In the fourth part of this sequence, I was in a small office room with some of my family members. I think my mom, dad, and maybe my brothers were there. I don't think my sister was, though. The carpet was red with some darker red designs. The entrance is S, let's say. To the W, there was a black desk, where a man was talking to either my mom or dad. The office reminded me of the person who fixes my family's instruments when they need repair. Anyway, I was looking out of the entrance/exit, towards elsewhere. I wanted to talk to the boy again. Then my parents finished talking with the man. We prepared to leave. I was looking forward to going back to the library again to talk with Jimmy.
In the fifth part of this sequence, I was seeing things in my perspective again. I was the only person in the library (out of my family, I mean). The counter of the library is back in the dream again. I walk over to it. There are some Asian students there with textbooks and whatnot in front of them. They may have been reading for leisure or may have been studying. Anyway, so I went over to an empty chair and announced my arrival with a snap-then-point with the index finger at the person to my left and a whistle not unlike the trademark of Mr. Fantastic Fox in the movie "Mr. Fantastic Fox." The person- a girl about my age, turned towards me and asked, "Do you usually announce your arrival hat way?"
I shrugged. We struck a small conversation. I saw Jimmy on the other side of the library and left the counter (I sat down when the girl started talking to me) to talk with him. We struck another conversation again. He was talking in a sincere way, but I don't remember what he said. I only remembered his expressions and such. I was growing rather fond of him. We had a sort of brotherly-sisterly relationship between us. We were becoming friends, but I would have to leave back home soon, and I wanted to talk with him as much as possible before we left. Then I had to go.
The next scene was in the library again. The ground had mats on it, not white carpet. There was going to be a meeting there. The speaker was on the E side of the library, and we all were supposed to sit on the W side of the library. There were two former middle school classmates of mine there, C.A, and E.M.M. My sister was with us as well. E.M.M, a giggly girly-girl, somehow knew about Jimmy, as well as C.A. They were giggling over them and teasing me about him. I just shrugged and whatnot but smiled nonetheless. We sat inside some sort of playground thing made out of foamy things. It had a sort of arched ceiling on top of us that shadowed us. I believe C.A was on my left, my sister behind or right of me, and E.M.M was somewhere nearby.
I saw Jimmy. Some Asian girls sort of giggled behind their hands. Apparently they thought something was funny. Jimmy looked to see if I was there. When he saw me, I gave him a wave. He smiled at me-- I forgot to mention, he had the greatest smile ever, second only to my sister's, whom I adore.
The dream ended.
I woke up thinking of Jimmy.
