August 22, 2015 Dream

I'm standing on a soccer field. A game is going on. One side (the side I'm near) is wearing a standard blue and white uniform. Can't remember what the other team's color is, though. I'm near the goal, mostly just watching the game. At one point, the leader of the team (young man with darker skin) comes over to me and tells me that I'm supposed to give the goalie kick. I'm surprised by this because I'm not exactly athletic. I go over to the goal line to where the soccer ball is, moving it around a little with my feet (near the white line in front of the goal--for a second I worry that I just scored on my own team, but I guess not cuz the leader is watching and says nothing--he's standing a few feet away in front of me, facing me). I take a couple steps back and try doing a punt kick (as if it's football). I'm kicking it with my left foot, and it's a pretty bad kick haha. Just scrape the side of it.

Later on, there's a flashback scene to a story of two younger boys and their parents. The two brothers are about aged 8-10 and 4-6 respectively. Both have darker skin, black curlier hair. Dusty faces. They're traveling in the back of an old Jeep-like car, in the open trunk. Their parents are seated in the front. Can't remember exactly what the older brother says, but he says that he must kill his younger brother because of his parents' wishes--or something like that. The two brothers are the captains of the two teams in the soccer game (from first part of dream).
